10 minute cleaning tips from…lets just say, a bit of a clean freak 😊

Pick a cleaning chore or 2 to tackle in just ten minutes. Keep a running list of tasks you want to accomplish and use those 10 spare minutes you find right before the kids get home from school or after breakfast when the house is quiet.
Clean all the switch plates. Carry a bottle of windex or all -purpose cleaner and a cloth and go to town!
Dust the living room and dining room base boards. Be sure to use a good polish or dusting spray. The moisture will help pull the dust from the wood and creates a smooth shiny appearance.
Use the attachment on your vacuum to pull all the dust from the heating vents. Most vents can be removed fairly easily.
Did you know you can clean your mattress with baking soda? This is a little more time consuming but a great suggestion. Sprinkle baking soda on the top of the mattress and let it sit for 15-20 minutes then just vacuum the baking soda off!
Clean the backsplash, cabinets and drawer pulls in your kitchen. Break out that handy all- purpose spray and go to town. Be sure to use a cloth with some texture for scrubbing the backsplash to remove excess grease.
Gather all your bathmats and fabric shower curtains and throw them in the washer for cleaning.
Clear counter top space of unnecessary items and ”deliver” them to their proper place. Then scour the counter top with an anti bacterial spray.
Then go and enjoy the fruits of your labor!
